Red Beard RV was founded by husband and wife team, Tom and Katie (and their dog Max, too!) Having spent most of their weekends tent camping in remote areas of the Northeast, Tom, Katie, and Max decided to sell their home and hit the road full time in their Brinkley 5th wheel. 

Tom is a Certified RV Technician and Inspector who grew up in New York. He enjoyed a successful 22 year career as a power lineman. He was a dedicated volunteer firefighter for 28 years and served as a first responder on 9/11. Tom is an avid outdoorsman who has spent years developing his bushcraft and survival skills. He has extensive experience in construction including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, electric, and concrete. 

Katie grew up climbing, hiking, and kayaking in the Northeast. She had a very rewarding career as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Teacher of Students with Disabilities. Prior to hitting the road, Katie was named Teacher of the Year at a prestigious school for the Deaf in NY, which she considers the greatest honor of her career.

Tom and Katie are passionate about helping their customers keep their RVs maintained and safe for years to come.
